Academy Workshops at location Request an Academy Workshop at your event
The European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery offers specialised workshops at events organised by both endoscopic and gynaecological societies. These workshops are based on the exercises as defined in the GESEA Programme and consist of practical skill training and testing augmented with lectures. Each participant of the workshop will receive one or more reports indicating their practical skill level.

Half day workshop

Maximum 20 participants
The workshop caters to a maximum of 20 participants, where participants work in groups of two during the practical exercises.

3 hour duration
The workshop is mostly practical with brief lectures to support the practical exercises. It consists of official LASTT and SUTT training and testing as used in the GESEA programme.

Cost
- Travel and lodging costs of 2 Academy representatives
- Workshop execution cost of €2,250
(includes the instructor fees, rent of training materials and consumables, shipping costs and administration) - Optionally, the workshop can be performed twice on the same day (morning and afternoon) for an additional cost of €750

Steps and timeline for a successful event
The timeline below illustrated the different steps needed to successfully plan an Academy workshop to be featured at your event. In order to get everything organised, contact us at least 8 months prior to your event. If you want to receive further information, please complete our workshop request form.
Minus 8 months: Request
Make your request for an Academy Workshop at your event at least 8 months prior to the event. This allows us to make sure that your request can be carefully evaluated by the Academy Board and that there is enough time to make the necessary people and material available.
REQUEST WORKSHOPMinus 6 months: Approval
Upon approval by the Academy Board to participate in your event and upon availability of the necessary equipment, a formal agreement is made.

- Signing of agreement
- Deposit
Minus 3 months: Finalisation
Three months prior to the event, the final details are fixed to make our participation at your event a success.

The Academy executes a well-planned workshop at your event, showcasing best practices of endoscopic training in a hands-on session.
